Handmade pottery from a new perspective

I am a potter from Northeast Ohio. My interest for pottery started when my mother built a pottery studio in our basement. I started casually experimenting with pottery. I never thought it could be something I would pursue seriously.

It was quite challenging to learn. I have had an insatiable urge to improve my work. This leads me to spend entire days down in the studio. My first few pieces were very rough and clunky but eventually I was able to develop a unique style. Although my pieces have continually improved in quality and style, I always find myself craving a cleaner, better looking mug.
